Yes we are already half way through the year.
Remember, almost six months ago, what you were thinking on January
You likely made some promises, created some goals, or set some intentions.
And when we discussed having the “Best Year Ever,” perhaps it seemed like a very likely possibility. Maybe even a fact.
But how does it feel now?
Has it been the Best Year Ever?
Or does it seem like it’s going to be A Pretty Good Year or Just Another Year or More of the Same or A Rough Year, or even the Worst Year Ever.
Whatever the case may be, you are your own CEO.
And you are in control of your life.
And it is time for us to talk.
How are you doing with those goals?
Where are you six months later?
… and more importantly, why are you where you are today?
Has your inner prison been holding you back and setting you up for self-sabotage?
Or do you wake up full of energy every morning and take your life to the next level?
If you’re like most, the motivation and excitement around your goals fizzled out around March.
Some of you may have even forgotten your goals.
Others may have achieved them already.
The good news is: We’re still less than half-way through 2015.
That leaves us roughly six more months to make a positive change and follow through on what we promised ourselves we would do this year.
You see, goal setting is tricky.
(And proper execution is even trickier.)
Sometimes ambitious goals can sound positive at first, but actually be detrimental to your success.
Which is why you need a mentor and a successful peer group who are not afraid to tell you the truth, and keep you accountable when you lose your way or fall into bad habits.
I even have mentors that give me a kick in the bum on a regular basis…
So, will you make 2015 your best year ever?
